Climbers Against Cancer

Hello all

Unfortunately, I've been hectic looking for a new place to rent this week, so no new injuries blog post, but will be starting work on a medial/lateral epicondylitis post soon (golfers/tennis elbow!).

However, I thought it would be an ideal time to spread the word about the new campaign Climbers Against Cancer, set up by John Ellison.

In my everyday 9-5 job within the NHS, I often get patient's being admitted to be provided end-of-life care, and so I often have dealings with families and patients going through issues such as cancer, albeit much later stage, but it certainly is an issue that strikes home with me.

And, as John Ellison says, the climbing community is one that is such a close knit network; friendly, inviting and just brilliant!

So spread the word, buy a t-shirt, and let's make "Cancer" into "cancer" and make it all a little less scary!

Interviews with John Ellison on Climbers Against Climbers can be found:

And everyone is sharing his story and being inspired by his work, such as Tom Randall, Dave MacLeod and Shauna Coxsey, just to name a few, and is being supported by climbers worldwide.

So why are you still reading this? Get over to the CAC website now!
