About Me

My name is Tom Bond, I'm a physiotherapist who graduated from Keele University with a Bsc Hons in Physiotherapy in 2012.

I have a special interest in rock climbing injuries, and have attended the BMC Climbing Injuries Symposium in both 2010 and 2012.

The aim of this blog is to share my physiotherapy knowledge - from reviewing papers, links to useful websites and feedback from experiences, in order to educate my readers.
The main slant, though not limited to, will be from a rock climbing perspective.

I'm a keen climber and have climbed all over the UK, and abroad, in Europe (Spain, Kalymnos, France) and further afield in Thailand.

I also volunteer for the BMC and am a member of the Climbing Wall Committee and have previously been the National Council representative between 2009 and 2012 for the North West area.

N.B. Jan 2017 - I have now moved to New Zealand on a permanent basis and so will not be making any changes to this blog or replying to any messages, as my focus has now somewhat changed. I will be leaving the blog up as a reference though. Thanks for reading!
